Long Beach Members Are United With Beach Shops Workers
At CSU Long Beach, employees at the non-profit organization, Beach Shops, work in dining halls, the bookstore, and as office staff. They support student success on campus, just like CSUEU members do.
A majority of employees at Beach Shops filed for a union election with the NLRB on March 14. They will vote to join CSUEU on April 23. After the employees win their union, they will sit down with management to negotiate better wages, benefits, and working conditions.
